Ayla represents the many miniature pigs that were abandoned and did find a permanent home with us. It has become a trend to keep a pig as a pet, but it is not always a good idea, because it is difficult to meet their needs and provide a good quality of life for them. Especially if kept in an apartment and without peers. Did you know that even micro pigs will grow to around 80 kilos? Pigs are hyper intelligent animals and they need a lot of mental stimulation.

We have a leat 10 miniature pigs at Domaine Fraser and we can not take everyone in that needs a home. Come and visite also Rosalie, our big pig that was lucky to escape the butcher. But thats an other story...

Jack and his mama come from a large goat's milk farm. He was born as a male, also not wanted and his mother was older and no longer profitable for the owner. So both were predestined for the slaughterhouse. But this little family was lucky to come to the Domaine Fraser and have a happy and free life. You find artisanal goat's milk soaps in our store, but please note that all our milk is obtained ethically. The goat kids stay with their mamas and we only take the excess milk. Also come and visit Snickers, our three-legged goat. He was abandoned on our  doorstep on a cold winter night.

Rebecca has been with us for a long time and is now enjoying her semi-retirement. Her life almost ended in tragedy, as when she was younger, she was considered dangerous and untamable by her former owner. The slaughterhouse truck had already been ordered and we rushed to pick her up. With patience, training and a lot of love, she became one of the best horses we have met. Rebecca helped us with all our animal therapy classes and she was the best teacher for young children. Rebecca is proof that everyone deserves an opportunity and can reach their full potential in the right environment.
